TPC Tampa Bay

The course was an overall good condition. However, they had just aerated the greens therefore, the greens were in poor condition. They did reduce the cost to an amount commensurate with the greens condition.

The course is overall challenging and fun to play!

I can tell this place is pretty good in the right conditions but paying $100 for a round of golf and then finding out the fairways and the greens are punched at the starters box wasn’t the greatest of experiences. At least be upfront about it when I’m paying especially after driving 2.5hrs to play there.

We were aware that the greens were recently punched for aeration but felt the course rate at $75 was well with it. Greens were sanded but it was true. Great day.

Would like management to think about their customers playing TPC Tampa Bay.
Aerification was not an issue, a necessary part of maintenance. The course was closed Wednesday.
Thursday temperature was hot and humid, three water stations had no water. The bunkes needed normal maintenance. These issues may not important to others. I just believe and expect the little things should not be part of my experience while playing TOC Tampa Bay.

Great track, great shape, staff was fantastic. Got paired with a Tour Pro as our third a round I’ll never forget

Best golf within a 30 minute drive from my current residence. Shop and outside staff are true professionals in their areas. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly. Had the Mahi sandwich after my round and it was amazing.

The course layout from hole to hole can be a bit tricky for the first time visitor but not anything wild. The Gauntlet (#15-#18) definitely lives up to the name as it swallowed two sleeves of ProVs from my bag haha. Greens were rolling fantastic and fairways were some of the best I’ve seen in Florida. Brecken in the golf shop mentioned they’ll be punching greens in June so definitely play sooner than later.

I will definitely be coming back at some point to play this gem again. Thank you TPC Tampa Bay staff for an amazing experience.

Strip away the TPC from the name and this is an average course to slightly above average. The pace of play was horrible.

It was a gorgeous day. Originally, they wanted $225 to play TPC Tampa. Not sure why? We ended up getting a discount through my credit card, to $165. Still not worth it. Course was not in good shape. Several lies in the fairways were off dirt/burned out grass. Greens were ok.
Design was ok. The course was just okay. Perhaps I was expecting more, being a TPC label.

I’m a low handicap and my son is a high handicap and we both enjoyed the course immensely.
Friendly staff and fantastic layout.
(funny note : starter said greens were fast ie., 10 out of 10 - they were a 5 out of 10 at the best) but still very enjoyable day.

The course is in great shape. The renovations last summer have really turned out well. The greens were tough to hold after the reopen. They are very good now.

Of course playing well did not hurt.
Pace of play was great. Very relaxing!!!

I loved everything about the course and the facilities! This course receives some critical reviews. Everyone can have their opinion, however, I feel the course is awesome!

This was our "splurge day" for our golf trip. We all wanted to play this. I got tee times for 1pm & the next because the price went down in the afternoon. Lush, plush and velvety greens that rolled true. Sugar sand as well. We loved it & would play this again in a heartbeat. Pro shop was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Expensive? Sure. But if you're on a golf trip treat yourself to this magnificent place. It ain't a crime to be good to yourself!!

The entire place is gorgeous, people super nice, played in just over 4 hours, and the course was in great shape. Couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a some time. Good food at the turn. Warm up area is fantastic. Definitely get there a bit early and enjoy the time.
